Come
on down and visit us on a Monday or Thursday,

When you arrive at the Guardroom, say
that you're interested in joining the
Air Cadets. You'll then be directed through

On
your initial visit, we request that you
bring your parent/guardian with you. You
and they will have a short conversation
with our Commanding Officer or another member
of staff. This is to learn a little about
you, your hobbies and interests and to tell
you about us and what we do! If you have
any questions, feel free to ask them.
After this, you will be given a tour of
our Headquarters by a Senior Cadet on the
Squadron. During this, they will give you
the cadet perspective on the Organisation
and our unit. Again, please feel free to
ask any questions you have.
After the tour, the next stage is really
up to you. Normally, you will have the choice
of going away to consider if you want to
join or, as we prefer, that you stay and
experience what we do for yourself. We find
that this works out as a better method and
encourages many to join as it can all seem
quite daunting during the tour! |

We
have produced an information pack summarising
our joining procedures for prospective recruits.
Which is available for you when you come
and see us.
