Pride is a justifiable confidence in ourselves and our Squadron based on success, attitudes to life, individual and team spirit. We must be able to compare ourselves favourably with the other squadrons in the Air Training Corps and with the Cadet Organisations of the other services, confident in our own expertise and excellence and the knowledge that we are among the best. A fine line exists, however between pride and arrogance, and our sense of pride must be based on proven ability rather than boastful or ill-founded claims. We must all show a willing and selfless desire to serve the Air Training Corps, confident in the knowledge that the quality of 1349 (Woking) Squadron personnel will invariably win the day no matter how difficult or challenging the situation. |

To ensure that 1349 (Woking) Squadron continues to flourish and to remain true to the ideals laid down in the Air Training Corps Charters, particularly the provision of adequate aviation and other challenging activities to enable it to attract and retain membership and thereby provide example and leadership for the local youth. |
