1349 Woking Squadron

First Aid is obviously a vital skill, and from 2006 the ATC  introduced a formal qualification to recognise this.  Working in conjunction with St John Ambulance Service, the ATC now offers cadets the opportunity to gain the St John Ambulance Young LifeSaver Plus award (see the badge shown on right). 

First Aid Training is built into the programme for all of our Leading Cadets. Cadets will have received fourteen hours of first aid training, culminating in a practical assessment.  At Woking Squadron we are fortunate to have many staff whom are first aid assessors and trainers
